Current Opportunities: Delphi Developer
Description:
We have 2 desktop applications that require your assistance in adding features and maintaining. Another desktop application needs to be built. The applications access the database over a high speed internet connection (remote database) so application architecture and planning is very important. Our development process is rather structured with a separate Beta testing area but you need to feel confident that your code can go live when you are finished testing. Your role will be to follow requirement or technical documentation to achieve the goal of system implementation. The stored procedures that contain the business logic will be provided to you for final certification. If you have experience in database development, this would be a definite asset. The role would be welcome to expand into the database. You are not afraid of offering input into the specification as the project traverses through the life-cycle. We are a close-knit team and assist each other to ensure that our customers receive the best quality service for their dollar.
Skill set (required):
Delphi Our current deployment is with version 7 but experience (3+ years) with any version will be considered MS SQL Server Experience in interacting with stored procedures is a must Testing You need to be able to test software with confidence that it can go live after you User Interface You have experience in ensuring the user experience to gather and present information follows KISS   Additional Skill set (preferred):     MS SQL Server Writing stored procedures and contributing to the schema would be a definite asset Communications Development We have a device link that also needs to be built between a cash register and a PC. Description:
This successful candidate will work within the Real Profit Solutions Inc. Sales division and will be primarily responsible for managing and developing potential clientele.
The role will require the successful candidate to:
	Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of the industry our products and services, as well as those of our competitors (Internet applications including websites, technology sector applications and marketing).
	Meet revenue targets, product sales quotas and appointment goals as set by company and regional manager.
	Land, maintain and up-sell top-tier accounts.
	Maintain and foster relationship with “high level” contacts at clients and prospects businesses.
	Up-sell clients by informing them of additional services Real Profit Solutions can offer them.
	Attend tradeshows and industry association events to network among exhibitors.
	Maintain consistent new business development in assigned sales territory.
	Devise and execute effective sales strategies to ensure continuous revenue growth.
	Monitor competitors in the marketplace to ensure Real Profit Solutions maintains and grows market share growth and competitive advantages.
	Maintain database as to all sales activity.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
	4 or more years outside sales experience
	Experience in related field such as Marketing, Software and Retail.
	Bachelor’s degree preferred

	Technical skills and computer literacy; proficiency in standard business applications (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Maximizer, Web, etc.)
Additional Comments:
	Compensation will be commensurate with sales closes achieved.
